Jump in on this chance to develop your skills in authentic stage work. We will focus on multiple elements of playing with an ensemble and how to use our imagination to its fullest.

Join Kaisa on a journey through a true exploration of the improvisational theatre. The class will end with a 5 week run of performances at the Torch.

  • Class #2: Tuesday, May 8th 6:30pm-9:30pm
  • Class #3 & #4: Saturday, May 12th 11am-5pm (includes Lunch break)
  • Class #5: Tuesday, May 15th 6:30pm-9:30pm
  • Class #6: Tuesday, May 22nd 6:30pm-9:30pm
  • Class # 7: Tuesday, May 29th 6:30pm-9:30pm
  • Shows – The Run – Saturdays in June at 8:00pm

Prerequisite: Complete of Torch Level 1 or equivalent longform basics.



Kaisa Kokko, an improviser, educator and communication skills teacher, has learned, performed and taught improvised theater for 15 years and has more than 20 years of experience in scripted theatre. Her studies of this artform under many great teachers, span the globe, including iO Chicago, Unexpected Productions in Seattle and Loose Moose with Keith Johnstone. She has had the pleasure of teaching and performing improv in the United States, Canada, Peru, Costa Rica, Australia and all over Europe. Kaisa is the co-founder of Finlands first Finnish Improv Training Center ImproKampus. Kaisa specializes in deep and meaningful connections, relationship based grounded scene work and musical improvisation. Kaisa firmly believes in the strengthening power of improv and is thrilled to be part of something that will — little by little — change the world!

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Workshops require immediate payment to secure your spot. If you are on the waitlist please ignore the redirect after submitting. All cancellations are non-refundable within two days before your scheduled workshop.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: After registration you will be redirected to make immediate payment of full tuition or the deposit to save your spot. If you select deposit, your remaining balance will be split into two $50 payments due week 2 and week 4 of your workshop via emailed invoice. Cancellation within two days before your scheduled workshop will forfeit a tuition refund. This class requires a full commitment and if you plan to miss any classes, approval to participate in the class will be up to the instructors discretion.
