Julie Brister Comes To The Torch in March

We are happy to announce new workshops coming to the Torch in mid March. We will be hosting Julie Brister. She will be offering a wonderful workshop for all those ladies in improv as well as two advanced workshops for the Improvisor who is really working to advance their skills! Julie Brister is an actress and longtime performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and has taught long-form improv there for the past 17 years. She’s done workshops at dozens of festivals all over the U.S., including the Del Close Marathon in NYC and Out of Bounds in Austin. As an actress, she has recurring roles on Goliath on Amazon and on Review on Comedy Central as Forrest’s inept attorney. Other TV credits include Transparent, Dr. Ken, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Playing House, Newsreaders and Parks and Recreation. She loves campfires.
