Apollo 12 visited the great state of Minnesota over the weekend to spread a little Phoenix Improv around the country. With the suggestion of giraffe, we went off on a little journey of judging things we don’t understand. Along the way were lost cell phones, suicide attempts, a river of lava, an unhealthy children’s show and a solution to the oil spill in the south.
Of course we spent a lot of time off stage as well sharing ideas about The Torch and learning from improvisors around the country. Not surprisingly, lots of questions about invocation popped up since The Torch is one of the few places in the country still performing it.
Thanks to Mack for playing with me, Jose and Nina for coming to see us in the rain and Butch, Lauren, Nels, Jill and Josh for taking care of us. It’s always a joy to share the love of improv beyond the walls of 4721
