Light Rail Pirates

Light Rail Pirates

The Light Rail Pirates (LRP) are a loose confederation of buccaneers, whose sole goal was to impose their reign of terror onto Phoenix's newest form of public transport. Alas they arrived in Phoenix only to discover that the Light Rail was still under construction, so as all soldiers of fortune do during down times, they turned their anger towards the art of improv comedy. Once the Light Rail was finished, the improv stuck and replaces hopes of terror to comedy.  LRP brings a high energy dose of fast paced improv peppered with great scenework and strong connections. They perform a variety of longform structures including Deconstruction and a handful of original creations such as -- Postal and Rantonrouge. The Light Rail Pirates have been performing together since May of 2006 and still to this day have a ton of fun together onstage and off.
