Shane Shellenbarger

Shane Shellenbarger

Shane left Ohio and arrived in Arizona at the age of two (His parents claim some involvement.) Seeking improv training to improve his voice acting, Shane experienced long-form improv first-hand at a Chuck Charbeneau workshop held during the 2009 Phoenix Improv Festival (Although, he can't for the life of him remember the name of the workshop.) He immediately signed up for classes at The Torch Theatre and has since completed their six levels of instruction. He is proud of his association with the community of The Torch Theatre and his contribution toward making 4721 N. Central Ave. the home of long-form improvisation in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. He credits his training at The Torch for his burgeoning career as an improvising actor for ASU Law School classes. His wife, Lauren, gives him many opportunities to practice humility.
