Jacque Arend

Jacqueline Arend grew up in Michigan and moved to the Arizona desert in 1999.  In 2005 after years of searching for purpose she found improv by attending the IO Chicago Summer Intensive.  Upon returning to Arizona she immediately began performing with The Originals under the direction of Matt Rosin. In 2006 Jacque joined the ranks of The Phoenix Improv Festival production team.  That same year she became a founding member of The Light Rail Pirates, an original member of Phoenix Neutrino Project and Mail Order Bride. In 2007 Jacque, along with all the great people in the Phoenix Longfrom community founded The Torch Theatre. Today Jacque is a very active board member for both The Torch and The Phoenix Improv Festival.  She is a regular instructor in The Torch Theatre`s Training program. She also performs consistently with The Light Rail Pirates, Mail Order Bride, The Foundation and JaxN Reed. Jacque would like to thank Space 55 for their continued support of Longform Improv`s growth in the community, Clif Highfield for his dedication to our new theater`s construction process, Sam Haldiman for being the perfect life partner and the improv community for fun and adventure.
