The Monoscene is a single unedited scene set in one location and played in real time with no tag outs or swinging doors. We will work as a team to create a grounded reality and characters with strong points of view. We will help you find those moments in the form where you can take the reins and also acquiesce to your scene partners when necessary. We will work on creating bold characters, object work, listening to your partners and most importantly, developing the patience you need to keep your scenes in a grounded base reality.
Date & Time: Saturday, March 18th – 2:30pm-4:30pm
Location: Torch Theatre
Requirement: This workshop is for advanced students only. Torch Level 4 or equivalent longform structure experience.
