All Gals w/ Julie Brister

We will work on getting you to ignore your inner critic. We’ll be pulling strong ideas and initiating clearly and committing to playing truthful and unique characters outside of the mom and girlfriend zone. Julie will also side-coach and give adjustments to guide you towards the game or the interesting thing. This workshop is where women of all ages and experience levels can play fearlessly in a safe, supportive environment.

Bio: Julie Brister is an actress and longtime performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and has taught long-form improv there for the past 17 years. She’s done workshops at dozens of festivals all over the U.S., including the Del Close Marathon in NYC and Out of Bounds in Austin. As an actress, she has recurring roles on Goliath on Amazon and on Review on Comedy Central as Forrest’s inept attorney. Other TV credits include Transparent, Dr. Ken, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Playing House, Newsreaders and Parks and Recreation. She loves campfires.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Workshops require immediate payment to secure your spot. If you are on the waitlist please ignore the redirect after submitting. All cancellations are non-refundable within two days before your scheduled workshop.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: After registration you will be redirected to make immediate payment of full tuition or the deposit to save your spot. If you select deposit, your remaining balance will be split into two $50 payments due week 2 and week 4 of your workshop via emailed invoice. Cancellation within two days before your scheduled workshop will forfeit a tuition refund. This class requires a full commitment and if you plan to miss any classes, approval to participate in the class will be up to the instructors discretion.
